Third Rank Sea Eagle Princess, Fourth Vita

Yogyakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Elang Laut Subang women's team succeeded in placing third in the 2024 Nusantara Cup Volleyball Championship, after defeating Vita Solo 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-21) in the match for third place at GOR UNY Yogyakarta, Saturday (23 /3/2024).

In the battle for third place, the Sea Eagles controlled the game, from the first to the third set.

“We welcome this title, even though we are only in third place,” said Ahmad Doddy, manager and owner of the Sea Eagle club.

According to him, having young players take part in this championship is an extraordinary achievement. “This achievement is quite proud for us,” emphasized the entrepreneur from Lampung.

Meanwhile, Vita Solo coach, Agus Suyanto, stated that the players were not in top condition. So his children were easily defeated by Sea Eagle.

“The kids dropped a lot today. Maybe they were tired,” said Agus after the match.

Apart from receiving the third place trophy, Sea Eagle received a coaching prize of IDR 15 million. Meanwhile, Vita Solo, apart from receiving the trophy, also received coaching money of IDR 10 million.
