Trial, Indonesian U-20 National Team Draws Against China in the First Round

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesian U-20 national team still played a goalless draw in the first half in the trial against China U-20 at Madya Senayan Stadium, Jakarta, Monday (25/5/2024).

Indonesia started the match by attacking China's defense. The Indonesian players succeeded in entering the opponent's defense. However, China's tight defense meant that the Indonesian players failed to properly complete the opportunities they created.

In the 13th minute, Indonesia was attacked by China due to Meshal Hamzah's mistake. Luckily, the Chinese players failed to execute the ball. Goalkeeper Ikram also played a role in preventing his goal from being conceded.

In the 33rd minute, Indonesia made an attack through Donny Tri Pamungkas' action from the left side. However, his efforts failed to produce a goal. Moments later Figo Denis was fouled by a Chinese player.

The player with back number 7 took the shot himself. His shot went wide and only resulted in a corner kick after being hit by a Chinese player. The goalless draw lasted until the end of the first half.

In the first trial which was also held at Madya Senayan Stadium, last Friday, the two teams drew 1-1. China hit Indonesia's goal first with a goal scored by Peng Xiao in the 15th minute. Indonesia managed to avoid defeat after Figo Dennis scored a goal from the penalty spot in the 92nd minute.
