Women’s Doubles Ready to Combat at Badminton Asia Championships 2023
Four Indonesian women’s doubles are ready to fight at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships at the Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Indoor Hall, Al Nasr Club, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 25-30.
Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi, Ribka Sugiarto/Lanny Tria Mayasari, and Rachel Allessya Rose/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari are ready to fight at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships.
Coach Prasetyo Restu Basuki said the women’s doubles players were ready to compete at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships.
“They have practiced here twice, yesterday in the main hall and this afternoon in the practice court and everything went smoothly,” said Prasetyo when met by the PBSI Public Relations and Media Team during the training session Monday (24/4/2023) afternoon.
“For each pair, we do have their own targets. But in general we want them to be able to improve to a higher level,” added Prasetyo.
Prasetyo revealed that the strategic factors on the field and fighting spirit were the evaluation of his foster children after yesterday’s European tour. So, in this tournament, those things will try to be improved.
“After yesterday’s European tour there was indeed an evaluation of the strategy on the field. So we are increasing the portion there by analyzing a lot through match videos. In the afternoon there will be the last practice in the main hall, we will be even more mature,” said Prasetyo.
