Meanwhile, the Xiaomi SU7 electric car is selling well on the market. It even sold up to 90 thousand units.
Quoting the Reuters page, Tuesday (2/4/2024), Xiaomi started accepting orders for the SU7 on Thursday, March 28 2024 and said pre-order sales reached 88,898 units in the first 24 hours.
Delivery for the standard Xiaomi SU7 model, priced at 215,900 yuan (USD 29,870), may take 18-21 weeks.
Meanwhile delivery of the SU7 Pro model for 245,900 yuan (USD 34,000) or around IDR 542 million could take 18-21 weeks.
Then for the most expensive model SU7 Max, with a price of 299,900 yuan (USD 41,453) or around Rp. 660 million, delivery can take 27-30 weeks.
The electric car, whose design is often compared to the Porsche Taycan and Panamera sports cars, was launched amid a fierce price war in the world's largest car market, where more than 40 brands compete for consumers' attention.
