Regarding Nasdem Remaining in Jokowi’s Coalition or Removing it, This is Cak Imin’s Response

The general chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or as he is usually called Cak Imin spoke out about the Nasdem Party remaining in the Jokowi-Ma’ruf government coalition or withdrawing from the coalition because it already has a different political choice. According to Cak Imin, currently Nasdem remains in Jokowi’s government coalition because there are still Nasdem ministers assisting President Jokowi.

“Regarding the government coalition, because there are still ministers in the government,” said Cak Imin after meeting former Vice President Jusuf Kalla at JK’s residence, Jalan Brawijaya Number 6, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Saturday (6/5/2023) evening.

Regarding President Joko Widodo’s invitation to the chairman of the political party coalition government, said Cak Imin, it was President Jokowi’s full authority. He admitted that he did not know the reasons for the reason that the Ketum Nasdem Surya Paloh was not invited to a meeting with the six Ketum political parties on 2 May 2023.

“I think it’s still a matter of the invitation, it’s entirely the palace’s authority to invite whom or gather the general chairman, I don’t know the considerations,” said Cak Imin.

Furthermore, Cak Imin also appreciated the meeting between Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Surya Paloh. According to him, the meeting was refreshing in the midst of dynamics that are starting to increase ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.

“Pak Luhut’s meeting with Pak Surya Paloh was refreshing so that communication between all of them would not be divided,” concluded Cak Imin.
