Aldila Sutjiadi Aims for Charleston Open Title

South Carolina, Beritasatu.com – Indonesian female tennis player, Aldila Sutjiadi will compete in the WTA 500 Charleston Open tournament in South Carolina, United States. After playing at the Miami Open last week, Aldila will compete in the women's doubles with her Japanese tennis partner, Miyu Kato at the Charleston Open.

The pair Aldila and Miyu will begin their journey in the first round by facing the American pair, Taylor Townsend and Madison Keys on April 1 2024.

“I am happy to be back competing at the Charleston Open. This tournament has always been one of my favorites. Miyu and I have trained hard and we are ready to give our best,” said Aldila.

Aldila/Miyu have a pretty good record as a doubles pair. They have won two WTA 125 titles in 2023, namely the 2023 Auckland Classic and 2023 Tennis in Cleveland, and one title in 2024, namely the Thailand Open.

“We want to continue to improve our performance and achieve better results in this tournament. “We will fight hard in every match and we hope to get support from Indonesian tennis fans,” he continued.
