Apple to Announce New Generation MacBook Air 15 at WWDC 2023

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Apple reportedly plans to announce the latest generation of the 15-inch MacBook Air at the WWDC 2023 event which will be held in June. This news was first reported by a journalist from BloombergMark Gurman.

This laptop is also said to launch with iOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 10, tvOS 17, and headsets Apple’s AR/VR that Apple fans have been waiting for.

“As part of watchOS 10, the company plans a rollback widgets and make it the main part of the interface. This new strategy will debut at WWDC in June, alongside the launch of iOS 17, macOS 14, 15-inch MacBook Air, and, of course, headsets. mixed-reality which is highly anticipated,” wrote Gurman in his report as quoted from MacRumorsWednesday (3/5/2023).

Previously, rumors of the presence of this latest generation MacBook Air had existed since early 2021. Ahead of its launch, the production of display panels for laptops has reportedly increased over the past few months.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the MacBook Air will be powered by a standard M2 chip with multiple GPU configurations. Meanwhile, this laptop is also said to have the same design as the 13-inch MacBook Air.

For your information, Apple announced the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip at last year’s WWDC. So, it is not impossible that the 15-inch MacBook Air will be introduced at WWDC 2023.
