As More Content Creators Make Money on YouTube Shorts, Will TikTok Be Left Behind?

YouTube will provide new policies for videos that use AI for content creation.

From now on, Google's video sharing platform will require content creators who use AI in making their videos to include additional labels.

This label is needed to indicate that the video uses AI in the creation process. Apart from that, labeling also aims to provide transparency in every uploaded content.

YouTube argues that content created with AI tends to be easily misinterpreted by some users in conveying information about a particular event, place or event, as quoted from Engadget.

Later, if a content creator creates an imitation of a real person's voice to narrate a video, or replaces someone's face with someone else's, the creator will need to provide a label when uploading it.

YouTube revealed that they will also label videos if the creator has not labeled AI videos uploaded to the platform.
