AVC Challenge Cup 2023: 3 Times in a Row Win SEA Games, Indonesian Men’s Volleyball Team Remains Alert to Thailand
Loudry Maspaitella revealed the key to the victory for the Indonesian men’s volleyball national team against Kazakhstan in the top 12 round of the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup, Wednesday (12/7). According to him, there are several aspects that make Rivan Nurmulki cs able to overcome Kazakhstan.
“The difficulty for our players is facing tall blockers and (hands) big and wide. However, the two tossers can control the variation and accuracy of distributing the ball,” said the former Indonesian national team tosser.
“Successful (gaining points) is not because the opponent can’t read, but because our spiker can handle the ball, which is not good enough to be a point,” he added.
Even though he won, Loudry assessed that the appearance of the Indonesian men’s volleyball team still needed improvement. “The ball groove is still rough and not smooth yet,” he explained.
