Competing Fiercely with Binder, Bagnaia MotoGP Champion Jerez

– Ducati racer from Italy, Francesco Bagnaia, successfully won MotoGP at Jerez, Spain after being involved in a fierce and tense race with Brad Binder, Sunday (30/4/2023).

Bagnaia and the Red Bull KTM racers were involved in fierce competition in the last few rounds of this fourth MotoGP series. But Bagnaia finally won his second race in this season’s race after the first in Portugal

Bagnaia finished in first place after successfully recording a time of 39 minutes 29.085 seconds and again occupying the highest podium after experiencing challenging races at the Argentine GP and the Americas GP.

“I am very pleased with the progress I have achieved. This victory is unbelievable. Previously, it was difficult for us to imagine being successful here. We tried everything and in the end we got the win! I am very grateful to the team,” said Bagnaia, who is also fondly called Pecco.

Binder finished second in 0.221 seconds behind Pecco. The South African racer entered Sunday’s race in high spirits after winning the Sprint race on Saturday (29/4).

Peco and Binder are competing for the title at this Spanish GP. In this race, N+Binder tried hard to overtake Pecco in the last lap.

Binder and Bagnaia also faced tough competition from Jack Miler. Bagnaia’s teammate finally finished in third place with a time difference of 1.119 seconds from the champion.

The fourth to sixth positions were filled by Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing), and Luca Marini (Mooney VR46) with a time difference of 1.942 seconds each; 4,760 seconds; and 6.329 seconds from the race leader.

The senior racer who got a wildcard ticket in this race, Dani Pedrosa, continued to show his best quality by entering the finish line in seventh place. He is +6.371 seconds behind Bagnaia. While the eighth and ninth positions were filled by Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda), respectively.

Bagnaia’s success in the race in Spain made him lead the MotoGP standings again with 87 points. The second position is occupied by Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46) with 65 points and Binder with 62 points.

Jack Miller is in fourth place with 49 points. The Australian racer has a slight lead over the occupants of fifth position, namely Aprilia Racing racer, Maverick Vinales, with 48 points.
