Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have just released the update 1.09 for Elden Ring, which adds support for Ray Tracing on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The patch also brought a number of tweaks and bug fixes across all versions.
FromSoftware warned that when playing with Ray Tracing on consoles there will be a reduction in frame rate and resolution. After turning the feature on, you need to go back to the main menu for it to activate.
In the case of PC, these are the requirements to be able to use Ray Tracing:
Minimum – 1080p, Low Quality, Low RT
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 3600XT
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or Radeon RX 6700XT 12GB
Recommended – 1080p, High Quality, High RT
- OS: Windows 11
- CPU: Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 7 3800XT
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- GPU: GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB or Radeon RX 6900XT 16GB
