Encouraging the Acceleration of Improvement of the Indonesian National Team, Erick Thohir Revives PT Garuda Football Indonesia
Meanwhile, regarding the ownership of PT Garuda Sepakbola Indonesia, Erick explained that the majority of shares are controlled by PSSI. While the rest is held by the Indonesian Football Bakti Foundation.
“The ownership of this company is 95 percent owned by PSSI, five percent owned by the foundation that we launched yesterday,” explained the 53-year-old man.
Erick himself has no plans to change the ownership scheme by opening it up to other parties. He stressed that the main goal of this PT is for the welfare of PSSI.
“Until today and in the future, I don’t think like this because this PT was actually formed for PSSI’s own income,” he said.
In the future, Erick targets that PT Garuda’s profits can reach Rp. 240-260 billion.
