Google Boss Sundar Pichai Joins in Wishing Happy Eid on Social Media

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – CEO of Alphabet, the parent company of Google, Sundar Pichai, also wished him a Happy Eid via social media.

The Google boss uploaded a tweet on X aka Twitter, giving greetings to Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.

In his short upload, Sundar Pichai wrote, “Eid Mubarak! As the month of Ramadan has ended, I wish health, peace and happiness to those who celebrate (Eid al-Fitr).”

This upload was welcomed by followers Pichai on Elon Musk's social network.

Until this article was published, the upload had been viewed more than 114 thousand times with various replies, ranging from thanks to Pichai to greetings for Eid Mubarak or Happy Eid al-Fitr to the 51 year old man.

Sundar Pichai, previously suggested that people should be more wary of third-party apps and practices sideloading, namely, install applications from sources outside the official store onto the cellphone.

In his testimony, Sundar Pichai “warned users not to do so sideloading application.”

Impact of Practice Sideloading

He said the risk of malware infection was a dangerous impact of installing third-party applications.

This attitude is in line with Apple's concerns and shows that Google also recognizes that there are potential dangers arising from installing applications without restrictions.

The debate regarding installing third-party applications is not recent. While it gives users a lot of control over their devices, it's worth considering the potential consequences of giving access to apps that aren't verified by the device manufacturer.
