Anthony Ginting added to his winning record over Li Shi Feng after defeating the Chinese men’s singles in the semifinals of the 2023 Indonesia Open. The world number two won 21-17, 21-15.

This is Anthony Ginting’s fourth win over Li Shi Feng out of four meetings. The 2023 Singapore Open champion admitted that he already knew the playing style of the All England champion.

So far this year, the bronze medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics has met Li Shi Feng three times since the 2023 India Open in January. The last meeting was in the quarter-finals of the Singapore Open 2023 and Anthony Ginting won 21-13, 16-21 and 21-12.
