Indonesia vs Vietnam National Team Results: Score Still 0-0 in the First Half

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Indonesian national team met Vietnam in the Group F qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Thursday (21/3/2024) at 20.30 WIB. Both teams are still locked at 0-0.

About an hour before the game, the coaches of both teams released the first 11 player lists. Indonesian National Team captain Shin Tae-yong immediately included two new names who had just completed the naturalization process, Jay Idzes and Nathan Tjoe-A-On, to the main team.

Goalkeeper Nadeo Argawinata was reportedly injured, so Muhammad Riyandi was entrusted with guarding the goal from the early minutes. Meanwhile, regular names such as Rizky Ridho, Marselino Ferdinan and Witan Sulaeman are also relied on.

Only five names remain starters from the team that beat Vietnam 1-0 in the 2023 Asian Cup, last January. They are Marselino, Justin Hubner, Yakob Sayuri, Ivar Jenner, and Rafael Struick.
