Indonesian Women’s Volleyball Team to the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup Final

– The Indonesian women’s volleyball team managed to advance to the final round of the AVC Challenge Cup 2023 after struggling to beat Taiwan 3-2, Saturday (24/6/2023).

The victory was won by the Indonesian volleyball team with a score of 22-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12 at the Tridharma Sports Hall, Gresik.

From the first set the match was tight and exciting. Taiwan, which played focused, was able to serve Indonesia’s game and closed the first set with a narrow 25-22 victory. Losing in the first set, Indonesia rose in the second set.

Indonesia’s attacking game is able to provide difficulties for Taiwan. As a result, Alim Suseno’s troops were able to even the score to 1-1 after winning 26-24 in the second set.

In the third set, Indonesia, which had excelled, was caught off guard so that Taiwan put it to good use to win 25-22 in the third set.

The mistakes in the third set were no longer repeated by Indonesia. The women’s volleyball national team was even able to win the points far enough with a score of 25-20 to force the score to 2-2.

In the decisive set, Indonesia did not give many opportunities to the opponent. Indonesia was able to maintain the advantage in points from the start until it finally won with a score of 15-12 over Taiwan.

In the final, the Indonesian women’s volleyball national team will meet the winner of the India vs Vietnam match. The final match will be held at the same place on Sunday (25/6).
