Actress Kriti Sanon has played the role of Janaki (Sita) in the film ‘Adipurush’. Kriti has not publicly responded to the ‘Adipurush’ controversy. The actress recently gave a befitting reply to the trollers in a post shared on Instagram. Sharing the video from the theatre, Kriti captioned, “My focus is only on clapping and chanting Jai Shri Ram.”
The film ‘Adipurush’ has been embroiled in controversies for several reasons. Controversy has also arisen over a dialogue ‘Jalegi tere baap ki’ by Devdutt Nag, who is playing the role of Hanumanji. People are very angry with such tapori style dialogues in the film based on ‘Ramayana’. Apart from Hanuman, people did not like the character of Ravana (Saif Ali Khan).
The film is doing well at the box office despite the protests against the film ‘Adipurush’. The film has collected Rs 340 crores worldwide in three days. Prabhas is in the role of Ram and Kriti Sanon is in the role of Sita in the film ‘Adipurush’. Sunny Singh plays the role of Laxman, while Devdutt Nag plays the role of Hanuman. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is directed by Om Raut and the screenplay is written by Manoj Muntashir.
