Liverpool Leads Premier League Standings, Klopp Enjoys Title Hunting Process

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool coach, expressed his joy in the race for the Premier League title this season after his team returned to leading the standings thanks to a 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield, Sunday (31/2/2024).

The result against Brighton was Klopp's first victory over The Seagulls while coached by Roberto De Zerbi, with the previous four meetings resulting in two draws and two defeats.

The German coach called this victory his team's best performance against Roberto De Zerbi's Brighton. He said Liverpool had more possession of the ball and controlled the match better.

Meanwhile, Alexis Mac Allister, who contributed one assists for Salah's goal, stating that the win against his former club showed Liverpool's extraordinary mentality this season.
