Maung Bandung Extends Young Player Contract Ferdiansyah

– Persib Bandung has extended the contract of one of their young players, Ferdiansyah Cecep. The 19-year-old player has a new contract until 2026.

The team nicknamed Maung Bandung renewed Ferdiansyah’s contract based on the recommendation of coach Luis Milla. Previously, the player who used to operate as a winger was contracted to the West Java capital club for one year.

This contract renewal makes the man who can also play as an attacking midfielder happy. He was also grateful to have the trust of the “Prince Blue” management.

The player who was born on July 15, 2003 also stated his determination to repay Persib’s trust by working hard and making the best contribution to Maung Bandung.

“Thank God, last season I was given the opportunity to play. Hopefully next year I will be given the confidence to perform more. I hope to contribute more to Persib. Of course, I have to work hard to repay that trust,” said the Bandung-born player.

In his career record, Ferdiansyah received a promotion from the Persib Bandung Education and Training Center to the first team at the start of the 2021/2022 season. At that time he was under contract for a year.

In that season, the players who had experienced training with Garuda Select were not given the opportunity to play. His hard work to improve performance is still appreciated. Persib also extended the contract in the 2022/2023 League 1 competition.

In his second season with Maung Bandung, Ferdiansyah was able to get the chance to appear and make his debut when Persib drew 1-1 against Dewa United. In the 14th week of the Indonesian League 1 match, Ferdiansyah and Ferdiansyah played 27 minutes.

Throughout the 2022/2023 season, Ferdiansyah has appeared in five matches. He was recorded as appearing for 65 minutes, namely against Dewa United, PSS Sleman, Bali United, PSM Makassar and Persis Solo.
