According to Bezzecchi, the first four laps are very important in the MotoGP race. The first four corners are the key to the race.

“For example, in the second start, I was a bit more careful. But I completely destroyed the race. Occasionally having an accident like this is normal.”

Bezzecchi confirmed he was in no danger of falling because of Quartararo. “I feel something but nothing crazy.”

Both races at Jerez this weekend produced red flags. Oliveira suffered a dislocated shoulder as a result of an incident involving Quartararo and Bezzecchi.
