Netizens Goofed, Elon Musk Parody Account Trolls Mark Zuckerberg After Instagram Releases the Threads Application

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Meta’s move to release the Threads application has drawn criticism from Twitter. Most recently, the company led by Elon Musk has also threatened to sue Meta over the existence of the Threads application.

The heat of this relationship turned out to be the butt of jokes from Elon Musk’s parody account. Through his latest upload, the account with the name @ElonMuskAOC said that with Meta’s decision to release Threads, this is personal.

“I have spent USD 44 billion on this application (Twitter) and now a Lizard boy chooses to emulate it. This is personal now. See you behind bars, Zuck,” wrote the account.

Given that the tweet came from a parody account of Elon Musk, it’s clear his words don’t really represent the Tesla boss. However, who would have thought that there were still many people who thought that the tweet was from Elon Musk.

This was also acknowledged by Elon, who replied to the tweet. “Many people think that this account is me,” he wrote via the @ElonMusk account.

Even though Elon did not directly reply to the tweets of his parody account, many netizens said that the Tesla boss actually agreed with the tweets made by his parody account.

It should be noted, based on previous reports, in a letter addressed to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter lawyer Alex Spiro argued, Meta used trade secrets and Twitter’s intellectual property to create Threads.

Spiro, who is also Elon Musk’s personal attorney, claims that Meta hired dozens of former Twitter employees to develop Threads.
