Not only WhatsApp and Instagram, the App Store and Apple Music also went down

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Who would have thought, yesterday Instagram and WhatsApp went down at the same time. However, it turns out that Meta's two services were not the only ones that collapsed.

Apple's online services also experienced disruption. Due to this disruption, many users were unable to access the App Store, Apple TV and Apple Music services on Wednesday evening.

Quoting The Verge, Thursday (4/4/2024), when the Apple TV, App Store and Apple Music services were down, the system status page for Apple's online services recorded a disruption starting at 18:30 US time.

Various Apple online services also collapsed, including Apple Arcade, Apple Books, Audiobooks, Podcasts, Fitness Plus, and the Apple Sports application.

Even so, the Apple service crash only occurred for about an hour. The reason is, the status page lists everything as “outage resolved” or the outage was resolved by 19:35 US time.

Apart from that, all Apple services are also working again. The @AppleSupport account on X aka Twitter does not list the reason for this problem. However, it directs users to check the status page for more information.

On the down page detection site, DownDetector, the first reports of this problem began at around 18.00 local time. The Verge itself tried to contact Apple and ask about this problem.
