Receiving Eagle Support, East Java Pelatprov Badminton Athletes Motivated to Achieve Achievements

Tangerang, Beritasatu.com – As many as 22 badminton athletes who are members of the East Java (East Java) Provincial Training Center (Pelatprov) received assistance to boost their performance on the field. This is in the form of sports equipment ranging from shoes, rackets, strings, grips, bags, appareland so on from Eagle.

Head of Pelatnas PBSI Coach for East Java Province, Hadi Sugiyanto, said the support from Eagle has added to the morale of the athletes to produce achievements.

“This collaboration with sponsors who care makes us motivated in teamwork to score achievements. We are ready to give the best performance out of the 22 athletes in the East Java Pelatprov. Of course our aim is to become national champions,” he said on the sidelines of a meeting with Pelatprov athletes East Java ahead of the Development Jaya Junior International Grand Prix 2023 championship in South Tangerang, Monday (17/7/2023).

President Director of PT GF Indonesia Hengky Sofyan said this assistance was a form of appreciation for the badminton sport which has contributed many achievements to Indonesia in international competitions.

“We provide support for all sports equipment ranging from shoes, rackets, strings, bags, apparel, and so on. We have started working together since December last year,” said Hengky.

A number of local and national level badminton are also supported by Eagle. Explorations with the Management of the Central Badminton Association of Indonesia (PP PBSI) to support national and international events have also begun.

However, Eagle still has a lot of preparation to do to become a sponsor in official PBSI and BWF tournaments, such as the National Circuit or other events.

“Maybe in about one or two years we are ready to be able to support events such as the national circuit,” he said.

Collaborating with a number of former national athletes, Eagle also held several activities to foster a love for badminton in the community.
