Regarding contract extension at Manchester United, Wout Weghorst gave shocking comments

Since joining Old Trafford, the former Besiktas player has become one of Ten Hag’s mainstays up front. Weghorst has played 19 times in all competitions that MU has participated in.

Weghorst is fairly barren. He has only made two goals and two assists for The Red Devils. Weghorst was more of a wall to make it easier for Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes to score goals.

So far, Wout Weghorst has yet to score a goal in the Premier League, although Ten Hag has always played since joining last January. Weghorst’s first goal for MU came in the semifinals of the English League Cup or Carabao Cup. Weghorst scored his second goal in the Europa League.

Due to infertility, MU did not make Weghorts permanent. Football Insider this weekend reported that MU and Erik Ten Hag had made a decision to return Weghorst to Burnley. They will not make the 30-year player permanent.
