The Indonesian Cycling Team Wins 2 Gold Medals in the Asian Level Championship

– The bicycle racing athlete from ASC Monsters representing the Indonesian Junior National Team won two gold medals and one silver medal in the Asian Road Championships and the Asian Track Championships. The glorious achievements of these talented athletes raised the Red and White flag with pride as the highest in the Asian level championship.

Muhammad Syelhan Nurrahmat won silver in the Men Junior ITT event, Asian Road Championship Thailand, last weekend. Then in the Men Junior Point Race and Men Junior Omnium in Malaysia, Syelhan won 1 gold and 1 silver.

Also at Men Junior Madison, Syelhan together with Julian Abi Manyu also won gold. So that the acquisition of Indonesian bicycle racing athletes at the Asian level championship reached 2 gold and 2 silver

ASC Monsters coach, Ahmad Sahroni, was very happy with this news. He hopes that this achievement can be a source of pride for all Indonesian people.

“I am certainly very proud and excited for the achievements of our athletes in international racing events. This is not only an achievement for ASC Monsters, but also a victory that we dedicate to Indonesia. How proud we are to see the Indonesian flag flying high at a sporting event,” he said Monday (19/6/2023) evening.

Sahroni also promised to continue to make the maximum contribution in advancing the world of sports in Indonesia. The main focus is to provide opportunities for great talents in Indonesia to develop and compete.

“With all my strength and hope, I will continue to be committed to advancing the Indonesian sports sector. Because I believe, with proper support, our athletes will continue to be able to make achievements on the international stage. And once again this is not only for individual and team satisfaction, but for Indonesia,” he added.

The success of these athletes in winning the Asian title is not just luck. Through hard training, intelligence and discipline, they managed to overcome the level of competition in the Asian Games class.

Participants in this event came from countries that also participated in the Asian Games, such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Japan.

In July, ASC Monsters is also scheduled to take part in the Junior Tour de France in France. The event will be the next tryout for the ASC Monsters team.
