The Indonesian U-22 National Team Arrives in Cambodia, Ready for First Match Against the Philippines

The Indonesian U-22 soccer team has arrived in Cambodia to compete in the 2023 SEA Games. The team handled by Indra Sjafri consists of seven players who have attended the previous SEA Games.

As reported by Cambodian online media, Wednesday 26 April 2023, in the Indonesian U-22 national team there are seven players who have experience appearing in the Vietnam SEA Games.

They are goalkeeper Adi Satryo, Ernando Ari, defenders Alfeandra Dewangga, Rizky Ridho, Rio Fahmi, midfielder Marselino Ferdinan, and striker Ifran Jauhari, all of whom made their last appearance at the Vietnam SEA Games.

in squad Garuda, also midfielder Witan Sulaeman who participated in the SEA Games for the third time in a row made his debut at the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines and the SEA Games in Vietnam.

For his first appearance at the SEA Games, Witan Sulaeman scored one goal and brought Indonesia a silver medal in 2019, while at the 2022 SEA Games he scored three goals to lead Indonesia to a bronze medal.

The U-22 C Indonesian national team is in Group A of the 2023 SEA Games with hosts Cambodia, the Philippines, Myanmar and Timor Leste, with the Philippines facing Indonesia U-22 on April 29 at the National Stadium.

Then the U-22 Indonesian National Team then faced Myanmar U-22 on May 4 before facing Timor Leste U-22 on May 7. They should meet the Cambodian team on May 10.
