Withdrawing from Persib Bandung after 3 matches in BRI Liga 1, Luis Milla: This is a personal problem
Previously, Luis Milla Aspas made a surprising decision after Persib Bandung drew 2-2 against Dewa United in the third week of the BRI League 1, Friday (14/7/2023). He chose to resign from his position as coach of Persib for personal reasons.
Thus the explanation from Persib through their official website. Persib stated that the match against Dewa United was Milla’s last moment at the club.
“With a heavy heart, Persib has to convey that the game against Dewa United last night was the last moment together with Luis Milla Aspas as captain,” Persib wrote.
Apart from Milla, Manuel Perez-Cascallana and Carlos Grande Rodriguez also withdrew from the coaching staff. Persib also explained the reasons behind Luis Milla’s resignation.
“The factor of personal problems was the reason behind the 57-year-old coach’s decision. To be able to solve this problem, Milla had to return to Spain and devote all her attention and concentration,” continued Persib’s statement.
