2026 World Cup Qualification Standings Asia Zone: Beat Vietnam, One Leg of the Indonesian National Team to the Third Round

Through neat attacks, Indonesia tried to break through Vietnam's defenses. Garuda's attack failed and Vietnam launched a counterattack. Jay Idzes sacrificed himself by committing a foul and was given a yellow card.

Goal. Indonesia scored the second point through Ragnar Oratmangoen. Through penetration on the right side of the Vietnam defense, he fired a shot which the opposing goalkeeper failed to anticipate in the 23rd minute.

Vietnam found holes in Indonesia's defense. Luckily Nguyen Tien Linh's execution still went wide.

To make up for the deficit, Vietnam coach Philippe Troussier introduced striker Nguyen Dinh Bac as a substitute for defender Vu Van Thanh.

Ernando Ari made another save. This time he blocked Trieu Viet Hung's free kick.

The atmosphere heated up. Asnawi Mangkualam and Bui Hoang Viet Anh were given yellow cards. Indonesia then got a free kick. Even though the distance was quite far, Thom Haye still tried to shoot. The execution was far off the mark.

Vietnam continued to try in the remaining time. Nguyen Hoang Duc had the opportunity to open a shot, although his effort was not on target.

There were two minutes of added time, but the score did not change. Hokky Caraka received a yellow card before the first half was over.
