Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni: There are no special Indonesian players

– The coach of the Argentina national team, Lionel Scaloni, did not mention one particular name in the Indonesian camp that caught his attention. This was said by Scaloni after the Tango team caught squad Garuda 2-0.

“Because we really played well together and so for all of us we can play well. There are no Indonesian players who are special to me,” said Scaloni in a press conference, Monday (19/6/2023) evening WIB.

Despite winning, Scaloni admitted that the match against Indonesia was not easy. “The match was just as we predicted, it wouldn’t be easy. The 45-year-old coach also admitted that his team was constrained by the weather in Asia. The match also ended 2-0 in favor of Argentina, which at that time was strengthened by captain Lionel Messi.

“With so many changes, with the heat in Indonesia, the weather here and in China yesterday, I am quite satisfied with the team’s performance,” said Scaloni.
