Beckham Extends Contract at Persib until 2025

– Midfielder Beckham Putra Nugraha agreed to a contract extension with Persib Bandung. With this new contract, Beckham will remain with Persib until 2025.

The slick appearance of the player with the number 7 back throughout the 2022/2023 League 1 season was the main consideration for Persib to retain Beckham.

“Hopefully next year will be even better and I can contribute more. It is an honor to be able to play for a dream team,” Beckham said as quoted by Persib’s official website, Saturday (29/4/2023).

Since being promoted from the Persib Education and Training Center to the senior team in the 2019 League 1 competition, Beckham has always had the opportunity to appear in official competitions. In his first year, Beckham played in 4 matches for 85 minutes.

He got another chance in the 2020 League 1 competition. He had played once as a substitute before the competition was stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

His match hours are increasing in the 2021/2022 League 1 competition. In competitions that use a bubble system or bubble, Beckham appeared in 22 matches for 1,379 minutes. He also contributed five goals that season.

While in the 2022/2023 season 1 League competition, Beckham appeared in 25 matches for 1,382 minutes and contributed one goal.
