Evaluation of the Indonesia vs Argentina match, Erick Thohir: There was a ticket leak

The General Chair of PSSI, Erick Thohir, conveyed an evaluation regarding the implementation of the Indonesia vs Argentina national team match.

Erick Thohir said that there was a ticket leak in the match against the 2022 World Cup champion.

“The ticket leak was still there yesterday. I will evaluate it, it’s not a stingy problem. Safety and comfort, if that happens overcapacity,” said Erick Thohir at the Danareksa Tower, Jakarta, Friday (23/6/2023).

Erick Thohir emphasized that security and comfort are very important in organizing matches. Moreover, mothers to small children were also present during the Indonesia vs Argentina match.

“Yesterday we saw a lot of mothers coming, lots of small children coming, it’s extraordinary if the national team match is that beautiful, meaning the audience, the family can come. This is something beautiful, but if overcapacity this is dangerous. Small children will be trampled, there will be commotion. When do we want to build our football industry? My ticket leak will reviews,” said the Minister of BUMN.

In addition to the ticket leaks, Erick also said that the garbage in venues still a problem after the match. Apart from trash and tickets, Erick said there was no problem.

In fact, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) appreciates Indonesia being a good host. “As for the others, I am very satisfied,” said Erick.

The Indonesia vs Argentina national team match at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium was attended by more than 56,000 spectators on Monday (19/6/2023). In the match titled FIFA Matchday, the Garuda squad lost 0-2 to the world champion.
