Fabregas Retires, Messi and Puyol Pay Respect

– Lionel Messi and Carles Puyol paid tribute to Cesc Fabregas who announced he was hanging up his boots or retiring and turning to coaching.

The two played alongside Fabregas during his time at Camp Nou and were quick to send his goodbyes to the former midfielder.

Messi, who is a good friend of Fabregas, shared several photos and messages on Instagram.

“You already know all the good things we think of you and your family Cesc. You are a fractured man and we will continue to spend many moments together, we love you so much and wish you all the best on your new stage!!! Hugs tight .”

Puyol also took to social media to have a few words with Fabregas, along with several photos of them together.

“Congratulations on your career, it was a pleasure to share some good moments with you. Good luck in this new phase, I love you friend.”
