Galaxy S23 Touch Screen Problems After One UI Update, Samsung Blames Google

Meanwhile, cell phone flagship Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 will no longer get monthly updates. This was revealed from the April 2024 security patch bulletin which was published recently.

In the bulletin, all Galaxy S20 series models, including the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Galaxy S20 GE will only get security updates every three months. Likewise with the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

Quote SamMobile, Samsung usually lowers the update schedule for devices based on when they start selling the device. However, Samsung has now lowered the schedule for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 FE along with the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra, even though the Galaxy Note 20 and S20 FE were released six months after the S20 series.
