Telkomsel Now Presents eSIM Service, Here's How to Activate It

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Telkomsel has officially launched the eSIM service, aka Embedded Subscriber Identity Module, for all customers in Indonesia and abroad.

eSIM itself is a service that allows customers to access all Telkomsel networks, including 2G, 4G and 5G, without a physical SIM card.

This service is designed to optimize the multi-SIM feature in telecommunications devices. eSIM provides a seamless, easy and practical digital experience.

Telkomsel eSIM itself comes with various package options to choose from. Apart from that, customers can choose their own number according to availability.

The President Director of Telkomsel, Nugroho, said that the presence of Telkomsel eSIM was a response to the availability of handsets which were starting to adopt eSIM features. Apart from that, the needs and requests of customers are also the reason why Telkomsel presents this non-physical card service.

“Telkomsel presents innovative solutions that not only suit dynamic customer needs but also respond to the availability of handsets that have adopted eSIM features and technology that prioritize convenience and practicality,” said the man who is familiarly called Nugie, quoted from Telkomsel's statement, Sunday (7/ 4/2024).

Nugie hopes that the presence of eSIM will make it easier for customers to access various digital services.
