Indonesia vs Vietnam Player Lineup Prediction

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesian national team will face Vietnam in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in the Asian zone, at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Thursday (21/3/2024) starting at 20.30 WIB.

Indonesia, which is currently intensively carrying out naturalization, has just formalized Thom Haye and Ragnar Oratmangoen as Indonesian citizens, but they cannot yet appear in this match due to registration problems.

As a replacement for Jordi Amat in the back line, coach Shin Tae-yong will place recently naturalized player Jay Idzes.

Playing as a trio, the player who is currently defending Italian club Venezia will work together with Sandy Walsh and Rizky Ridho.

In the attack line, Rafael Struick will be a mainstay in breaking through the opponent's goal with his role as a sole striker.

The ADO Den Haag players will be supported by the duo Egy Maulana Vikri and Marselino Ferdinan. Meanwhile, the four players in the middle row may be Yakob Sayuri, Ivar Jenner, Justin Hubner and Pratama Arhan.

Indonesia will meet Vietnam again on Tuesday (26/3/2024) at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi. Shin Tae-yong's troops are currently in the bottom position of group F which also consists of Iraq and the Philippines.

Iraq leads the standings with six points, following Vietnam which has collected three points. The Philippines and Indonesia both have one point, only differing on goal difference. Indonesia has good provisions to face Vietnam because they beat them in the Asian Cup.
