Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Wins Runner-up in the 2023 AVC Cup Final

– The Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team, sponsored by Pertamina, was successful runner-up in the 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship (AVC ) after against the Japanese team, Suntory Sunbirds. The AVC 2023 final match took place at Isa Bin Rashid Volleyball Hall, Manama, Bahrain, on Sunday (21/5/2023). Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi managed to advance to the AVC 2023 final, having previously defeated the Qatari team, the Police Sports Team with a score of 3-1 on Saturday (20/5/2023).

This success is a new history in Indonesian volleyball, where Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi became the first Indonesian team to advance to the final of the Asian Volleyball Championship. This achievement is one of the best achievements of the Indonesian volleyball team, after 2006 the Indonesian team won third place in a similar match.

“We, the management of the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Volleyball Team, would like to thank Mr. Kapolri (Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo) as the Volleyball Sports Coach in Indonesia, and also thank the team that has struggled and was able to enter the final tournament between Asian Clubs in Bahrain. We also don’t forget to extend our gratitude to all management and accompanying officials. We are happy with this result,” said JBP Volleyball Team Manager Inspector General Pol Pipit Rismanto from Bahrain.

Apart from winning titles runner-upthree players from the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi men’s volleyball team, won the three best individual titles, namely Mohammad Javad Manavinejad (Best Outside Hitter), Hendra Kurniawan (Best Middle Blocker) and Fahreza Rakha Abhinaya (Best Libero).

Vice President Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero) Fadjar Djoko Santoso revealed, Pertamina fully supports and is proud of the achievement of Jakarta Bhayangkara Precision at AVC 2023.

“The success that Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi has achieved is certainly not easy, considering that the clubs participating in AVC 2023 are the best in Asia. We congratulate you and hope that this achievement can further motivate the team to achieve even better things in the future,” said Fadjar.

Fadjar added that the support that Pertamina gave to Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi was in line with Pertamina’s spirit of “Energizing You”.

“It is hoped that this collaboration will provide more energy for volleyball in Indonesia to continue to grow and make more achievements, especially at the international level,” he concluded.
