Legally Become Indonesian Citizens, Ivar Jenner and Rafel Struick Can Now Defend the Indonesian National Team

– Finally, Ivar Jenner and Rafael Struick officially became Indonesian citizens (WNI) after undergoing the oath process at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Jakarta, Monday (22/5/2023).

Ivar Jenner and Rafael Struick were seen wearing white shirt suits wrapped in black suits and red ties.

“This is an extraordinary day. I want to thank the Ketum PSSI, as well as the Indonesian government. I can’t describe my feelings right now, but I am very happy. Thank you very much. I promise to give everything for this country, for our country I can’t wait to join the team at the training camp,” Ivar was quoted as saying on the official PSSI website, Monday (22/5/2023).

“I just want to thank everyone who was here. This is a special day for me, for my family, just like Ivar, I can’t wait to do the training camp with the Indonesian national team,” said Rafael.

With the completion of the naturalization process, it is clear evidence of the firm stance of the two players to defend Indonesia. Previously, the two of them had been prepared by PSSI to strengthen the U-20 National Team to play in the U-20 World Cup which was originally to be held in Indonesia.

However, Ivar Jenner and Rafael Struick have made up their minds to be able to defend the Indonesian national team.

Ivar Jenner is a player who was born in Utrecht, Netherlands, January 10, 2004. Has a height of 1.86 meters, he usually plays as a central midfielder.

He is currently defending FC Utrecht U-21 joining since July 1 2022 and ending on June 30 2024. Jenner has joined the Netherlands U-15 national team on March 7 2019.

Meanwhile, Rafael Struick is a player who was born in Leidschenda, Netherlands, March 27, 2003. This 1.85 meter tall player is a striker who is currently defending the ADO Den Haag club.

He has already made his debut with the Indonesian U-20 national team and immediately scored a goal when he defeated Slovakia 1-2 on 19 November 2022.
