Luis Milla Ready to Build a More Competitive Persib Squad

– Persib coach Luis Milla will build a stronger team to overcome competition in League 1 season 2023/2024. Milla admitted that she had handed over the list of Persib players for next season to club management.

He has evaluated his team’s performance in the 2022/2023 season. Milla said, the results of the evaluation will determine the composition of the players needed to build a more competitive team next season.

Management considered Milla to have worked well to get players. Milla admitted that she had spoken with management about the position of the player needed.

Regarding achievements in the 2022/2023 season, Milla continues to appreciate the struggles of her foster children. Persib ended the 2022/2023 League 1 competition by finishing in third place.

“I appreciate all the support the players have given since the start of the season. Six months is a job full of hard work by all team members,” he continued.

Since taking over as a substitute coach for Persib in early September 2022, Milla thinks that her players have performed quite well and have even been able to compete at the top flight.

“Six months we were able to do a very good job and fight as one of the contenders for the league title. However, in the last month, our performance has decreased,” said the Spaniard.
