Manchester United Swallows Barcelona In The Hunt For The Brazilian Wonderkid

Spanish media Mundo Deportivo reports that MU is maneuvering to hijack Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense. Previously the 18-year-old player was closer to moving to Spain with Barcelona.

MU representatives have opened contact with Roque’s party to persuade him to want to move to Old Trafford rather than Barcelona. Roque will be included in MU’s U-21 team first before moving to the senior team.

Roque himself will not be moving in the summer of 2023. Both MU and Barcelona actually project Roque to join in January or the summer of 2024.
