MotoGP Racer Fabio Di Giannantonio Undergoes Arm Surgery

– Fabio di Gianantonio is the latest MotoGP rider to undergo surgery during the summer holidays.

Just days after the sudden foot surgery that Jorge Martin had to undergo, his fellow Ducati rider at Giannantonio also underwent “tuning” ahead of next month’s Silverstone round.

The 24-year-old racer underwent surgery on his right arm. The exact details are yet to be revealed but it could be surgery arm pump.

“Pit stop at the surgeon to get Silverstone up to 100%. All good, thanks all for the messages,” wrote the Italian racer on Instagram.

Only able to sit 15th in the world championship standings with a best finish of eighth, Di Giannantonio faces pressure to maintain his position as Team Gresini’s main driver. Moto2 racer Tony Arbolino has been touted as a prime candidate to replace him in 2024.
