“There is a bit of a misunderstanding, what you need to know is that an escort was not carried out, which means that when the queue is in front there is a gap behind, meaning that the vehicle that preceded the grab from behind is concerned,” AKBP Edwin said on the sidelines of traffic management at the Pier. Bakauheni Port Executive, Tuesday (25/4/2023).

As a result of the encroachment, three travelers who used private vehicles protested. Edwin realized this and apologized, especially to users who will be traveling to Merak.

Edwin said that the queue-tapping cars were ordinary drivers and not a group of officials, as other drivers had stated.

“So, it’s not an official. So it’s not just a Range Rover, No There are also. Yesterday there was a white Ertiga then there was also an Innova which we stopped yesterday, so there were indeed those who entered but because there were submissions from residents we stopped them, because the others had entered,” said AKBP Edwin.
