Prince William responds to racist – According to Prince William, there is “no place for racism” in society. He told the BBC after the news that a lady-in-waiting had spoken racist to a guest during an event on Tuesday. The lady-in-waiting in question is Prince William’s godmother.

“There is no place for racism in our society,” William’s statement said. “The statements were unacceptable and it is true that the person in question immediately resigned.”

Susan Hussey, the palace employee involved, repeatedly asked Ngozi Fulani, president of a charity against domestic violence, where she came from. Fulani always replied that she was British, but the lady-in-waiting kept asking where she and her family “originally” came from. As a result of the uproar, Hussey decided to immediately resign.

Buckingham Palace said earlier that the statements of the palace employee “unacceptable and very regrettable” to find.
