Ragnar Oratmangoen Prays to Debut in Hanoi

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesian national team will play the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Group F, against Vietnam at the My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, on Tuesday (26/3/2024) evening.

In this match, there were two new players who had joined the Garuda Team, namely Thom Haye and Ragnar Oratmangoen. Both will likely appear on the field.

Ragnar really hopes to make his debut with the Indonesian national team in the match against Vietnam. The player from Fortuna Sittard can't wait to wear the Indonesian national team uniform.

“I feel very proud and happy to be here. I pray that I will get the opportunity to debut with the Indonesian National Team in Vietnam. This will be a memorable moment for me,” said Ragnar.

Ragnar feels grateful because the Indonesian National Team's preparations to face Vietnam are going smoothly. The team has been in Vietnam since Saturday (23/3/2024) and has had several good training sessions.

“The preparations are going well, I try to stay in top physical condition and free from injury. We have done intensive physical training and we are ready to face the match,” said Ragnar.

Meanwhile, Ragnar admits that Vietnam is a tough team. Even though when competing at SUGBK, Vietnam only narrowly lost 1-0 to the Indonesian National Team, Ragnar is confident that his team will still be able to perform well on the field.

“They appeared quite impressive when they competed in Jakarta, but I believe we also have the potential to play well,” he added.
