sequel to Cyberpunk – The Polish game developer CD Projekt RED announced Tuesday that a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 will be released. When the game appears, is not yet known.
The game is in development under the name project Orion, the company announced in a presentation on YouTube that was about the plans for the coming years. It’s a completely new game. Next year there will also be an expansion of Cyberpunk 2077, called Phantom Liberty.
That the game developer is working on a sequel to the game is striking. Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t a huge success. After the game appeared in November 2020, it struggled with a lot of problems.
CD Projekt RED works on sequel to Cyberpunk 2077
The game suffered from technical flaws, which caused it to falter and look less good than in the ads. That led to a rain of complaints, after which the game was temporarily removed from the PlayStation game store.
CD Projekt RED also announced that it is working on a sequel to fantasy game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The developer also makes two other games in the same franchise: a multiplayer game and a game that no details are yet known.
