Sheikh Jassim Makes World Record Offer to Buy Manchester United
According to The Guardians, Sheikh Jassim is confident that he will succeed with his bid. He made his offer through the Nine Two Foundation and was only interested in completing a full takeover of the club.
Sheikh Jassim has previously stated his offer is completely debt free. The offer could give the Qatari banker an edge over Ratcliffe, who has indicated he is unwilling to write off Man Utd’s debt.
Meanwhile, Finnish billionaire Thomas Zilliacus has stated he will not enter into a third round of bidding. However, he remains interested in buying the club.
