Skip the Drama 7 Goals, Crystal Palace Conquers West Ham

– Crystal Palace picked up maximum points after defeating its guests, West Ham United, in a match marked by a drama of seven goals, Saturday (29/4/2023).

The match at Selhurts Park Stadium was won by the hosts with a narrow score of 4-3. Roy Hodgson’s men won thanks to goals from Jordan Ayew, Wilfried Zaha, Jeffrey Schlupp and Eberechi Eze’s penalty. While West Ham’s goals were scored by Tomas Soucek, Michail Antonio and defender Nayef Aguerd.

Thanks to this victory, Crystal Palace are now in 11th place with 40 points from 34 matches. While West Ham scattered in 15th place with a collection of 34 points from 33 matches.

Palace coach Roy Hodgson used a 4-3-3 formation in this match. Michael Olise, Jordan Ayew and Wilfried Zaha were plotted to be attackers in the front row. They are supported now by the middle consisting of Eberechi Eze, Cheick Doucoure and Jeffrey Schlupp.

Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi formed the defense accompanied by Joel Ward on the right and Tyrick Mitchell on the left. They escorted goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

In the West Ham camp. coach David Moyes, carried out a 4-2-3-1 formation. He featured Michail Antonio as a lone striker supported by a trio of Pablo Fornals, Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen.

West Ham actually started the game well. Evidently, they were able to take the lead earlier thanks to a goal scored by Tomas Soucek when the game had only been running for nine minutes.

But excellence The Hammers didn’t last long. Jordan Ayew made it 1-1 after scoring in the 15th from Olise’s pass.

Wilfried Zaha put Palace ahead thanks to a goal in the 20th minute. Ten minutes later Schlupp brought Hodgson’s troops to increase the advantage to 3-1.
