Support Prabowo, Cak Imin Hope PKB, Gerindra and Golkar Form a Triangular Coalition

– Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin hopes that the Golkar Party will soon join the Great Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR). According to Cak Imin, if Golkar joins, a triangular coalition will be formed consisting of the Gerindra Party, Golkar Party and PKB to support Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

“We hope there will be a triangular coalition of the pillars of Golkar PKB and the main Gerindra,” said Cak Imin at the KPU Office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday (13/5/2023).

It’s just that, said Cak Imin, the formation of the presidential-vice presidential pair is still being discussed. This is considering that the three parties have determined their respective general chairpersons as presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

“The formation is still being discussed and we hope that it will be completed and there will be an understanding of a joint work agreement, regarding what the position will be,” said Cak Imin.

However, said Cak Imin, the PKB had supported Prabowo as the 2024 presidential candidate. However, he said, this support had not been officially announced.

“Yes, we are just trying our hardest, God’s destiny is determined. The elected presidential and vice presidential candidates have been determined by God, but we don’t know about the leaks yet,” said Cak Imin.

It is known, Gerindra and PKB have formed the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR) with one of the points of commitment is that the determination of the presidential and vice presidential candidates is in the hands of Cak Imin and Prabowo Subianto. In the course of time, PKB and Golkar formed a core coalition as a bridge to form a grand coalition, namely the merger of KKIR with the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) formed by Golkar-PAN-PPP.
