AJC 2023: Indonesia’s Badminton Team is Desolate Vietnam 5-0

– The Indonesian badminton national team started the inaugural match of the Group A preliminary round of the 2023 Asian Youth Badminton Championships (BAJC) perfectly. Indonesia managed to pack a 5-0 win over Vietnam on Saturday.

Women’s doubles Anisanaya Kamila/Az Zahra Ditya Ramadhani who appeared in the fifth or final match completed the victory for the Garuda Muda Squad after defeating the pair Khanh My Huynh/Thi Anh Tran 21-5, 21-10 at Among Rogo Sports Hall, Yogyakarta, Saturday (8/7 /2023).

“We played more confidently when the team beat Vietnam 4-0. Of course we also want to win and try to play this game with nothing to lose,” said Anisanaya after the match.

The couple, who called Naya/Ara close, admitted that they looked relaxed so they managed to win the 25-minute match. The win made Naya/Ara more confident for the next match. Assuming they will face China, they will try to play optimally and get points.

“Participating in this championship with the Indonesian team was unimaginable before. So we really enjoy it and we want to do our best,” said Ara.
