Harry Styles sues sellers on Etsy – He has sued several online sellers for offering counterfeit merchandise. The singer wants all fake products to be taken offline immediately, reports NME Magazine Thursday.

The 28-year-old pop star hopes to prevent further sales of the products with the lawsuit. He filed the indictment Tuesday in the American city of Chicago.

Styles says he filed the suit to prevent forgery of his trademark. In addition, he wants to prevent customers from buying counterfeit products without realizing it.

The counterfeit products would be offered on well-known online webshops such as Etsy and Amazon. It is not known exactly what kind of products are involved or who is behind the sale of them.

However, the indictment does state that the sellers mainly come from China. According to the indictment, the products also make it difficult “to distinguish the webshop from an authorized seller”.
