“Hi everyone, I am sad to report that I am withdrawing from Wimbledon this year. I have done my best to prepare myself after the operation so I can return to the Wimbledon courts. During my return to play I had some pain in my wrist during the week in Mallorca. As a precaution, I had a scan and the results showed a torn ligament in the wrist,” Kyrgios said on his Instagram account.

“I have tried everything to be able to play and I am disappointed to report this. I did not have enough time to be able to play at Wimbledon. I will be back and thank you for the support.”
